I've kept and bred fish for a long time, got interested in shrimp last year. Started with 10 Red Rilis and when they reached several hundred in a 5 gal tank I decided to try Sulawesi shrimp. Started slow, made some adjustments along the way and now 20 have turned into 50-75 with shrimplets everywhere. Decided to try other Sulawesi and thanks to The Shrimp Tank I've added several other species. My tank is:

29 gal

82 degrees

pH 8.0

GH 7

High intensity light 7 am to 7 pm

Combination of river rock and lava rock

I use tap water from a deep water well, match the temperature, and change 30% of the water once a week.
