if it isn't tinting your water pink then I doubt it is enough to do anything.

And that is why I keep Betadine in the house! Better disinfection, virtually no sting.

Seriously, though, a few drops of blood is nothing. It's mostly water and some protein. You put more stuff in the tank when you feed.

Oddly enough, blood can be fed to corals.  Its just about the perfect size for a lot of sps and softies to eat.

 

As for open wounds in aquaria, being safe and keeping the cut clean and keep an eye on it.  Know what the symptoms of mycobacterium marinum and vibrio vulnificus.  Not trying to scare you but on the very rare chance one of these occurred symptom identification and treatment is a lot easier.

yep, put some alovera lotion on the cut, or it will start to ich if any tank bacteria is still in there. The alovera

lotion will heal it up quick.
