Soothing Shrimp
Astaxanthin causes color problems in neos. I haven't had problems feeding flake to my Malawas though.

JamesHe
Highly not recommended! You don't know if the fish food contains copper or not. what amount in it. It's not good for long term. What's why we have so many shrimp only foods on the market.
ctaylor3737
I used to do this a long time ago, they seemed to do alright but not as good as when I fed food for them. This was when I had them in a community tank with fish, I still have some cherries in my tanks and I dont feed them anything special they just live off the leftover fish food and they seem to be fine.
