aquariumlover10
so, some know I have alot of wild ghost shrimp and they have a redish hue to them, so i am going to selectively breed them, and i had a berried store bought and its eggs hatched this morning or last night, u have seen 1 larvae but 2 other ghosts got into the breeder box, so they are probably hiding in the plants in there, so this thread will just be a document of everything, also I am going to be sending soothing shrimp a few wilds in a few months when it gets warmer, thanks for looking, I will post pics later. aquariumlover10
ok, now I need to learn some Latin maybe I will just call cherry grass shrimp or something.
Soothing Shrimp
You only get to name the color you created. My suggestion is to pick a totally new name so it doesn't get confused with something already out there.

EbiBunBun
So what do they eat now?
aquariumlover10
Micro stuff, I am mainly using live plants for now and snowflake food, but this batch is from a store bought shrimp, so I don't care if they survive or not. aquariumlover10
No,the one in there is only a shell,, actually it died in my tank and my loavhes and shrimp ate it within 2 days.
chibikaie
Aren't they filter feeders? I guess it depends on the size of the larval shrimp. Most animals, if it fits, it gets eaten. aquariumlover10
aquariumlover10
Yeah, but they work like clams, theysuck water in one hole and filter it, and blow it out another, but I have another live one I my tank near my filter intake.
