Teruterubozu
So my lfs took in some of these kids and most of them died immediately. They offered me the 3 survivors. I've got them in a holding box with a filter at the moment until my new tank finishes cycling. I really like the way they look but I'm having trouble with figuring out their proper name. The lfs said they got them as bumble bees. I've googled that as cardina breviata, cardina trifasciata or a wild type of cardina cantonesis. Any experts who could help me with the right ID? Soothing Shrimp
Thy do look like some type of card. What is your ph?
Teruterubozu
Just about 7. 2. Plan to lower it slowly. The new tank has fluval shrimp sand in it so by the time it finishes cycling and I get the holding tank ph lower the should match around 6.8 I'm hoping. Soothing Shrimp
+1 drop that ph as they like the lower params.
Subtletanks91
I think there one of two things. A low grade CBS with less than solid color. Or bee shrimp. But the ph def needs to be lower
wicca32
i would say bee shrimp. could be cbs though.

Subtletanks91
I say bee shrimp because the colors are more opeck than solid. Especially the bigger one
Teruterubozu
I'm 90% convinced they're cardina breviata. But it's weird all info on them is german or Dutch with a couple of uk sites. No one in the ud seems to have them. Guess I'll be waiting to see if the guy who traded them in shows up at the lfs again. .. Puddles
Occasionally people come across these "wild types." I think they look cool and always wonder why no one tries to breed them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
