Soothing Shrimp Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 Would that be limewood? I'm talking mist quality bubbles underwater for a tenner or larger. Quote
jledermann Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 could you use a co2 bubbler? they are usually pretty fine, I think that's where ive used limewood before Quote
Soothing Shrimp Posted October 20, 2015 Author Report Posted October 20, 2015 I don't know if co2 diffusers do the same thing for air? I'm looking for this fine or finer air bubbles. Essentially a very fine mist: ANBU 1 Quote

Essentially a very fine mist: Although the mist looks cool, it doesn't work well in shrimp tanks if you plan on using it in one. When I had toms rapid mini for a 10G, at one point it was really strong and was aerating the substrate. Because of this, air bubbles are being released from substrate 24/7 and if caught near the berried area, shrimps are not smart enough to roll over and let the air bubble escape their berried area so they move funny. Soothing Shrimp Posted October 20, 2015 Author Report Posted October 20, 2015 Thank you Poopians. I'll keep that in mind. I'd still like to experiment with one though. ANBU 1 Quote

Okay, I don't mean to sound mean or anything but the video that plays in my head as I read that really is funny. Don't worry, I won't run out and get a shrimp torture device. Quote

Alpha1172 Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 co2 diffusors probably wont work for air as they need a good bit of pressure. maybe cheap glass one from ebay will work. but no the higher quality ones Quote
