Interesting, that is why I like this sight, learn something new all the time. I never heard of Astax before today...

Tried double speed last night for the first time and my CRS/CBS practically crawled out of the tank to get it. Neos were interested in it as were my TB's, but my Tigers seemed to not care at all?

I've only tried astax on yellow, Poke. The effects were not good, so out of caution now I avoid astax for any of my neos.

hmm I wonder if this is why i had some carbon deaths after feeding it in the carbon tank.  I had no deaths before it and none since. I stopped feeding it after the deaths because I figured  feeding once a day was causing a nitrate spike in such a small tank but maybe it was he  astax.

To be fair, when I was doing my yellow experiment, no shrimp died. Their color just turned streaky brown.
