Pokeshrimp
These two are both for sale in the market place right now and I was considering trying some out in my community tank. What's the difference between the two?

monty703
If its diminitus they are the small dwarf blue crayfish. Very peaceful and you can keep lots in a tank together.....but beware they breed very quickly and easily and you can start off with 4 like me and end up with 100+ LOL. Unlike other dwarf crays CPO's for example which are extremely aggressive and territorial towards each other which mean you can only keep 2 to a 10 gallon tank. Females will kill one another and often Males will kill females that are not willing to mate. The Dimis as they are called are a better choice. Some are more blue/grey than others, but my females were almost black in color, while the males were a lighter shade. Hope this helps. Wygglz
Thanks, Monty! I have had more fun with these guys than I thought I would. But at this point I absolutely have to downsize everything. All my dims must go! Adults, berried females, babies, etc!
