ReluctantHippy
Hi, First post here but I've been into shrimp for a while. I manage a LFS and have quite a few personal tanks as well. I decided to experiment with tangerine tiger crosses and think I might have had some luck. After several generations of crossing I have managed to produce orange shrimp with white lines of which ~25% have the orange eyes of OEBTs. This project is still very early on but I was very excited to see the orange eyes pop up with this newest batch of babies. Here are a couple pictures of my personal fish room and pictures of a couple of the parents and offspring. seaj, Mr. F, Fishprinceofca and 4 others

DETAquarium
Welcome ReluctantHippy! We are glad to have you. How many generations did it take for you to see "Zebra" Pinto patterns? What did you cross if you don't mind sharing?

All offspring appeared to be 100% tangerine tiger. Those were crossed with blue bolts and snow white mischlings. The resulting offspring are the parent tangerine tigers in the photos that exhibit thicker tiger stripes and some white on their backs. Their offspring is what's showing the more defined zebra striping and orange eyes. On 5/2/2016 at 6:48 AM, dazalea said: Awesome tanks!
