  1. I see the shrimps picking on the glass, shells of my nerite, rocks and hornwort. I hope there's enough food for them!
  2. Oh okay! Thanks so much for confirming! I was so worried that I went to test my water param and it turned out alright
  3. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they were actually mating [emoji848] I didn't think there would be such thing as courtship for shrimps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. How long will the eggs take to show up on the female swimmerets? Then maybe after that time frame if I don't see anyone berried means it's a false alarm. Oh okay! How about swirling some spirulina powder in the water for them? Will they be able to eat it? I can't imagine them being full from that little amount of powder [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Oh? So that wasn't a mating sign? Cuz they were not exactly belly to belly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Oh I see! Not sure if mine likes the filter or not but they kept taking turns to swim into the current. Not much grazing at that time cuz they were "playing" with the current. The whole tank seemed so active and alive. But after I removed it, they all seemed to calmed down. I thought of adding the filter cuz I was afraid that they didn't have enough oxygen [emoji37] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. How can we tell if the shrimps like or dislike something? [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hi everyone! Will biofilm formed on the glass make my tank seem cloudy or hazy? I looked from all sides, water seems cloudy but when I look from the top, it seems a bit clearer. Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I removed the filter and now they stopped trying to get to the current and mostly ARE on the ground or rocks, picking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Oh alright! I removed the filter btw and they are back to their usual routine of picking the floors and other surfaces. [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I see! I thought all shrimps would roughly be the same [emoji15] I hope to have good news soon! One question, if there were to be babies, how do I feed them? Since they are floating at the top of the water surface [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Oh okay! I hope they'll breed! [emoji18] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Really?! ? But when they were in that position, they weren't moving at all except for the top guy, its swimmers were kinda like flapping, that's all. ?
  14. Hi! I've noticed my shrimps being in this position for about 1-2 mins. Are they mating by any chance? ?
  15. Hello everyone! I recently added a tiny filter for my 2.8 liters opae tank. And I noticed that 2 or 3 of them would usually swim under the tiny flow from the filter, are they stressed by it or enjoying it? I've alr set it to the slowest flow and also added crushed corals in it to make it even slower. So now the water is kind of like "drooling" onto the water surface. Will the filter cause them to not breed?
