EricM
i've been using similar custom setups for a little while now, but my design is slightly different. my UGF and substrate on on the opposite side of my HMF. r45t4m4n
One of the tanks cracks across the bottom during the day today, one of the dividers broke when taking it out. Think I am going to set up back up like Bostoneric's tank. JayMarshal

JayMarshal
i've been using similar custom setups for a little while now, but my design is slightly different. my UGF and substrate on on the opposite side of my HMF. Really like this design, we're you able to find a ugf that fits nice and snug without bowing up anywhere?I think I'm going to try this setup as well. Any tips or suggestions on the build? Thanks ^^b EricM

r45t4m4n
During my planted tank maintenance today I squeezed the filter floss in the tanks, hopefully the cycle gets a good jumpstart from that. Dying to stock these tanks, seeing the sales in the marketplace is driving me nuts! BTW, I decided on the 30" finnex stingray for lighting, I am very impressed with them. christinenha
Wow, that looks freaking awesome! Do you cut the glass yourself? Is it glued on there using just normal aquarium silicone?
r45t4m4n
Thanks! I cut the glass myself, it was my first time so a lot of glass got wasted as I learned. I used aquarium silicone.

r45t4m4n
Thanks! Got my first shipment of BKK and PRL in from Blue Crown (BKK in top tank, PRL in the lower). Added them after lights out, drip acclimated for about 2 hours. They are very active and look very healthy. Will try to take some pictures tomorrow when the lights turn on.
