They do have a larval stage I found that if you have a well established aquarium without predators you will still end up with some live shrimp even without specifically trying to feed them. I had three berried females around 20 eggs each hatched . Ended up with 10 shrimp that actually made it they are about 1/4-3/8". I wasnt trying to breed them so it was fine so few made it. aquariumlover10 Posted December 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 Yup, they are easy to bred in a planted established tank like said above, I am planning on feeding normal bloodworms(I feed the juice from them, like when u put water in with the worms to thaw them and it gets a red juice stuff it works great for larval and such, and green water. aquariumlover10 Posted December 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted December 24, 2014 Ok so in my 10g one of my native trumpet snails crawled into my breeder box with my preg ghost, and had babies this has to be the smartest snail ever, the fish in main tank would eat the babies I will put the babies in my 2.5g too. aquariumlover10 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2015 Ok, umm so I was cleaning poo out of the tank, and I found a dead shrimp, and it was saddled:'( so I tested water and did a pwc, the stuff looked relatively well, do u think it was from ph?
