WDIK
Received some SL Aqua Snowflake food in the mail today. Have read good things about it. My question is, how do you actually feed it? Do you break up the pellet before dropping it in? Does the pellet sink and then break up? Just curious. Thanks.
OMG Aquatics
If you have little shrimp, break maybe 0.5cm to 1cm of it and drop it in your tank. Once in your tank, it will slowly break apart into many many pieces. Crazyfishlady, eozen81 and EricM
Jadenlea
I break off a tiny piece and drop it in. Then I watch it explode all over my tank and wonder how that tiny a piece can be so much zodiac, Crazyfishlady, Soothing Shrimp and 1 other
JamesHe
Only feed once in couple weeks. It's not staple food. it's good vacation food. h4n and mayphly
WDIK
Good tips. Was only going to use a small amount to try it. It won't be a staple food, just something to add variety. EricM

I broke off a 1/4 inch piece and it blew up. lol Have a feeding frenzy going on right now. I've read that this stuff is ok to leave in. Is that correct? Is that correct? you you can leave it in. pieces that arent consumed in the beginning may grow some yummy bacteria on them. but no worries. snowflake is safe. WDIK
Not going to be much leftover. They went crazy over it. Nice to have something to add to the feeding rotation. EricM
