Another just for fun. :)

Isn't she beautiful?  This color was called "Green Czech Republic" years ago.  A couple problems occurred with this "strain" though.

 

It was found in the wild

The offspring weren't true.  Reds, blues, yellows, wilds, etc would come out with little of any offspring green.

 

This leads me to believe the green was probably because of diet, but how nice the excitement was during that brief period of time years ago.

This is pretty neat, thank you for sharing!  Any ideas on what part of their diet could have caused the green color?  I wonder if it is possible for them to lose the green color over time if someone were to change their diet.
