Soothing Shrimp
Does anyone know what Sulawesi shrimp can be put in the same tank without aggression and crossbreeding? Is there a chart?
Lexinverts
Nope, I don't know of a chart. The only incompatibility that I have heard of is Blue Leg Posos sometimes eating Cardinal shrimp. None of them will crossbreed. Lexinverts
Most shrimp that I know of are cannibals (if a shrimp has already died). Blue Leg Posos eating baby Cardinals would make them predators. Louie

Soothing Shrimp
I wonder if the bigger Sulawesi would also be predators then?
monty703
I have kept yellow neos with cardinal Sulawesi's with no ill effect. I didn't mean to do it, I moved some moss from my neo tank into the Sulawesi one to see if the shrimps would eat the biofilm off the moss, I didn't know one baby yellow neo was in the moss.....found it sitting on a rock next to a cardinal who wanted to see what was so interesting to this funny looking shrimp LOL. It made my cardinals more adventurous and I began to see more of them venturing out in the open all the time. Neos can withstand very high temps and PH so I added more yellows to this tank and everyone lived happily for 18 months until I shut it down. Neos and Cardinals bred regularly, and NO deaths. Soothing Shrimp
Love the idea of using the neos to bring the cardinals in the open. My only fear is bacterial infection in the neos, if it occurred, would spread to the cardinals as well....? Louie
monty703
didn;t experience any deaths at all after I added the neos. If anything my breeding of cardinals went up....maybe they felt safer when they saw other shrimps exploring the tank without any predators around.
