All you really needed to do was call your vet if you have one and explain your issue and he probably would have given you some for a couple bucks. If it happens again try that!! Lots of veterinarians have tanks themselves. My vet was amused when I got some from her. Another vet has told me stories about how the antibiotics they sell in stores were not enough to rub out an infection he had in his tank with some fish he had had for years. But the one I got treats 30 gallons and I have a 2.5g for free because I won the gift card I used and my parents have prime so I don't pay shipping.
