No I never did, main problem was the tank was just too damn small and the top wasnt sealed. I will try them again when I find a more permanent residence. I just did not anticipate the level of evaporation

That's a bummer. It was a really nice looking tank, from the pictures I saw of it. Tops are a must for Sulawesi systems!

The Cardinals are doing extremely well. There are a few hundreds now in the tank. They are so much fun to watch. They are out all day long, grazing. They are not hiding. When I get very close, they just move a bit back and return within seconds.
