shrimpytrade
Hi All,Post my introduction, here is posting images of some of the shrimps I have kept. Its very hard to get shrimps here and you can count how many shrimp keepers are there in our country Please ignore some of the bad image qualities Blue shrimpOrangeFire RedMy own prl line - which due to my mistake only is now no more. They stopped breeding and are now no more with me. But again will try this time with CBS Cross of green and zebra babaultiZebraCrsYellowIndian Caridina white backedShadow Panda in 2012. We got them in India at around 2012, hand carried. Have just joined job and these things were so costly that I had sleepless nights those times. Sold them off after some days Will be getting some soonTiger shrimpVampire Crab, built a paludrium for them. But lost interest after some days Fishprinceofca, JosephKex, mayphly and 6 others

DETAquarium
Great pictures and illustration of native shrimp! What is the actual species of the "Blue Shrimp" in the first picture? Eggs look like their at the saddle?
Soothing Shrimp
Looks like Blue Pearl due to the red on the side.

OblongShrimp
Those are cool photos! Are the import laws really strict in your country? Is that why more shrimp aren't available or is the hobby just not large?
shrimpytrade
Thanks @ Steve. The Babaulti also is a bulletproof shrimp, only issue with Indian shrimp is that due to no selection breeding their color isnt strong enough. Thanks @Deta, the blue I got as normal blue only, due to good water and maintaineance they are now like this color. May be Soothing shrimp is right Thanks @Wygglz Thanks @oblongshrimp, its a mixture of both - first its the less amount of knowledge of keeping shrimp inside the country and secondly in our import law there is no provision to import shrimps, shrimps not even mentioned in the official documents. Our climate is quite same to our neighbouring Asian countries like Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan so shrimp hobby can really thrive and grow here, but alas the rules are horrible!
