what is that $10 moss? I have never heard of that before, is there a common name for it?

French guayna. I think that's what the kids call it now. Pretty new moss to the USA. Grows pretty fast. Shrimp babies like to hide in it. Have to shake it out pretty good.

I use co2 at 1bps in all my shrimp tanks.  If you have grown fissidens fontanus or any other moss with success it shouldn't be a problem, the rate of growth will be slower.  Depends on your setup and how much light you are using.  Harder to balance algae growth and plant growth when there is no co2 running.
