I have many cichlids but now really interested in shrimps. The only shrimp I've ever kept were ghost shrimp(the 37 cent ones at Petsmart haha) but those did not really last long. If you can have patience then you will be able to not only save $$$ in the long run, but it will also make the hobby enjoyable.
