I have several tanks of neos and have really gotten bitten by the shrimp bug! I'm a zookeeper by profession, and was even a public aquarist for about a decade, but deal mostly with reptiles and amphibians at work these days. As I tell my kids, wild animals can be trained, but still have wild instincts so you always have to be careful. Domesticated animals can be tamed. This is the third Komodo I've worked with and by far the most relaxed. He seems to enjoy human interaction, or at least doesn't mind it, so I try to foster that positively.
