Shipping livestock is about timing, some people only ship on certain days, temps, etc. I am sure there are plenty of expert shippers on here. I'm pretty much in the same boat you are, nervous and working on figuring out how to ship but I found this site that may help www.aqpkg.com. Then I took down the size boxes their insulation fits and went to the post office website and ordered some of thise for free. I'm sure I'll cut my own insulation after a bit but I thought it wwouldn't hurt to learn form a kit. Nothing is here yet so I haven't tried any of it, but I thought this might help. The only ones with deaths are the ones where the guy just tossed them in a Ziploc and called it a day. I would use the small priority box and a breather bag tied and rubber banded. Use some kind of foam to insulate the box and then just fill around the shrimp with newspaper. Most have been shipped to me this way with 100% live arrival despite some usps delays.
