Also this is my first high ph tank and I'm still trying to figure out what plants to use. Normally I'd be bugging han for this information but he is currently taking a week break. I have some saddled carbons I put my low grade crs with my blue diamonds And my chocolate shrimp seem to be growing to maturity soon. I have baby plecos everywhere I almost got all the babies from the first batch out but one left. I think I'll leave him or her in there to compare sizes Or different ages. Also my albino cory cats look like they will be matured soon. I did get some albino fry from my normal corys. Today is a big day for me the mail man is going to break his back. I have a pond pump coming in for a new pond set up (around 2200 gallons above ground)with a grow bed. Also my package from Han should arrive today got a lot of nice plants coming. Also waiting for some 300 ft of air tubing, brine shrimp kit, daphnia culture, and some more small parts. Last but not least Miwu sent me 20 michilings, 2 tbs, 2 red nose, 3 rabbits snails, and 3 pygmy cory cats. All their homes are ready to go I'll post pictures once they are all acclimate or in the process of. Here's a pic of my baby from my blue jelly, I'm thinking maybe my Crs was the father and the baby is a michiling. Also got my plants from Han. Going to order substrate soon to start a 55g michilings tank, I might make a divider. Or instead I've been thinking about doing 5 ten gallons instead. And make the 55g a discuss tank. He seems to be all black but his middle is clear to a hint a blue. This tank always has cool red head blue rillis and very deep red cherrys but never something like this. TheGardenofEder Posted March 12, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2015 So I figured out what to put in the 29g in the middle of the new rack I built. I made it the home of my blue rams. I recently had a big spawn of abn. I moved the kribs into the old ram tank, and moved the abn into the old krib tank. Look at the algee on the walls, food for days. Also I got two pygmy cory cats from miwu yesterday. So I found this baby pepperd cory cat and that's incredible I never saw any eggs and this seems to be the only one. Also heres the last baby ready to get out of the grow out tank of my cory cats. I'm getting rid of my 55g sakura red cherry tank. I'm down sizing to a 20g I'm going to focus on fire neon sakura and painted red cherrys. So for those who want a really good deal I'm going to sell my sakuras for only $2 each to those who read my journal. Shipping is $15 priority 2 day, comes with heat pack if needed. I will refund any doa just show a picture within 2 hours in bag upon dilivery. I'll also do the same deal for my red rilli culls. Thankyou all for your support. TheGardenofEder Posted March 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 13, 2015 Finished reduing one of my ponds. They are 4 ft by 8 ft by 4 1/2 ft tall and the shorter one is 4 ft. The grow bed is a large feed troth holds about 100 gallons of water. In the grow bed I have pineapple sage, chocolate mint, oregano, cabage, angle trumpets (just got hit by the winter hard), cauliflower, and soon to be baby tears and dhg. In the top pond I have around 50 koi mostly long fin and a small 8 inch pleco. In the small pond I grow out my lilly pads so I keep no koi in there because they would eat them. There is a bunch of red cherrys in this pond as well as two large plecos around 2 ft and 2 1 ft blue channel cat fish. Shadow panda or blue jelly? You won't be able to tell if it's a jelly or not just yet. Pandas are born like this and their darker parts deepens becoming black while jellies remain blue/green. But I'm going to be very busy Monday have a lot of packages going out. Also I'm expecting a bunch of products and plants from Han, 3 bags of soil, and Wednesday I'll be getting some BBS and red pandas. Tomorrow I'm going to start moving tanks away from the remodel job I'm doing in the fish room, might swing the sledge hammer a few times once their out of the way. Also check out the mushrooms in my bumblebee dart frog tank. Threw this red moss into my red cherry tank and its starting to look real nice. I'm trying to find a nice size cb male even if it's the same size I got her at, my marble cray will give me loads of baby's to get him to her size in no time.
