ctaylor3737
Awesome pictures guys. I really need to get a decent macro lens now lol. shrimpaholich
Doc4PC2
Yeah, me too. I just can't get decent photos without it. The close up filters I have are garbage.
mayphly
I tried some of those cheap tube extensions from evilbay and they were crap. They barely stay on the camera. Here's a few more shots of some of my critters Hishyfishy, Yanny Bean (Beanie), UKColin and 1 other
ctaylor3737
Where is a good macro lens kit?~ -Chris
DETAquarium
I used my iPhone 4S to take these pictures, by far not the greatest, but at least you can get the picture:)
mayphly
Some of my favorite pics are taken with my iphone and using a photo app touch it up. I have a 90mm F/2.8 DI tamron lens that I use with my Nikon D80. That lens is considered a "cheap" macro lens and still it runs around 300. I've heard some people who have good luck using the macro extension tubes. I'm just not one of them lol!

mayphly
I caught this guy the other day trying to make her way into the breeder box. Usually it's the other way around. Right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pika
Happy shrimp pile. Also, trying to get a pic of my lady with blackish cheeks, but got photobombed by an Oto. ANBU, High5's and edishrimp
mayphly
Pika, Those are some nice looking red shrimp. One of them looks like it has a yellowish stripe on it's back. Sort of remindes me of a Caridina spinata.
Soothing Shrimp
I think that yellow line is a saddled female with a clear line between her head and thorax. Pika
mayphly
I think that yellow line is a saddled female with a clear line between her head and thorax. Yeah, I think your right. I have a few that look the same.
mayphly
So, Here's another interesting one that came from my tb tank. The person who I got my tb from just told me that he has sevral red bolts from the same tank my shrimps came from. Do you guys thinkl it's possible this one may turn out to be a red bolt? I'm realy diggin' the spots. ANBU and Amyers22
Soothing Shrimp
I used to think I had a handle on what red bolts looked like. In the last year or so I have seen so many "red" goldens that I just don't know what to think now. mayphly
lol! I have red goldens in another tank. At least now I'll be able to see the differences once this tb gets a bit bigger.
